The annual Starmus Festival is a global festival of science communication and art, combining art, music and science to enhance the science communication. Simon will be performing at this years festival in Yerevan, Armenia alongside a completely new band: Derek Sherinian, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and Ric Fierabracci! This will be the debut of the project that Derek and Simon have been working on since 2001 when they recorded “Inertia”. Not only is this a completely new lineup, also none of the material on any of Derek’s solo records has ever been performed in concert before - giving listeners a new experience with music from Vortex, The Phoenix and some earlier albums.

The band will be performing on Sep 4 & 6 - the "Welcome Concert" show on Sep 4 is an acoustic set of the trio, with Derek playing acoustic piano. The show on Sep 6 will be an electric set with Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal joining on guitar.

Make sure to buy tickets to the 5-day long Starmus Festival via the button below. Keep in mind that the show on Sep 4 is not included in the general attendee ticket and must be bought separately.
